The engine of any church is the Holy Spirit equipping and empowering laypeople to do the work of ministry. These ministry teams provide the leadership to keep FUMC moving into God's preferred future. If you have any gifts or passions that might be utilized by one or more of these teams, please jump right in! Passionate Worship: This team is extraordinarily eager to help plan and offer the best in worship, honoring God with excellence and a clarity in connecting people to God through worship. You can also be a part of worship through your musical participation with
Radical Hospitality: This team has an active desire to invite, welcome, receive and care for all so that they find a spiritual home and discover the wide embrace of Jesus Christ. From greeters, to phone callers, these folks care about making all feel welcome.
Intentional Faith Development: This team focuses on growing disciples of Jesus Christ who know Christ and make Christ known. They plan studies, small groups and events aimed at growing everyone's faith.
Extravagant Generosity: This team has a heart for creating a culture of stewardship and generosity in the church based on God's generosity toward us.
Mission and Service: This team is drawn to the needs of the world around us, both locally and globally. They take serious Jesus' call to love neighbor and they make sure the heartbeat of the church is service and relationships with others outside the walls.
